The Church in England and Wales is running an initiative in 2020 together with the Bible Society called: The God who speaks: The Year of the Word. It seeks to encourage greater engagement with Scripture and through that encourage us to put the teachings of Scripture into action. The themes are: Celebrating God’s Word - reading Scripture, Living God’s Word - putting faith into action, and Sharing God’s Word - encouraging dialogue between science and faith, capitalising on social media and technology to provide new ways to share Christ in the world.
