At St Mary's with an active sacramental life, please read below to find out more information either about recieveing one of the sacraments or becoming a Catechist/helper for one of the Programmes.

SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMMES
BAPTISM COURSE
The Baptism Course is for first-time parents! It is run by the Pastoral Assistant: Mary Stanier. It lasts approx. 45mins-1hour and is a great way to prepare yourself sprirtually to better understand the symbols and signs and prepare worthily for your child's Baptism.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Enrol your Child for the annual First Holy Communion programme by emailing marystanier@rcdow.org.uk with the information requested in our "classes and courses" section. The course is run by Mary in conjunction with Sr Alejandra from the Marceline Convent. This year the course will start on 8th January 2022 and it will be held in our parish room from 09h00 to 10h00. Please contact us (hampstead@rcdow.org.uk) if you would like to sign up your child.
TEENAGE CONFIRMATION
We run a wonderful Confirmation programme each year. Confirmation will run from September to December with the Confirmation Mass itself being held on 10th December.
ADULT CONFIRMATION/ RCIA
Every year from October we offer preparation for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults which is for those who would like to become Catholic. This is also suitable for baptised Catholic adults who wish to be confirmed. Enrolment is on 30th September 2023. Please contact us if you are interested: hampstead@rcdow.org.uk
MARRIAGE PREPARATION
HERE AT ST MARY'S WE ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE A LOVELY TEAM OF COUPLES WHO ASSIST THE MONSIGNOR WITH PROVIDING A COURSE FOR PARISHIONERS LOOKING TO BE PREPARE FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE. OUR NEXT COURSE IS ON 25TH SEPTEMBER AND 2ND OCTOBER 2021. SO FAR WE ONLY HAVE 2 SIGNED UP COUPLES. IF WE DO NOT GET AT LEAST ONE MORE, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RUN THE COURSE.
